Cosmic Dreams is a Hazy IPA with notes of freshly pressed tangerine, mandarin, and navel orange juices. Following in the footsteps of Batch 15, this IPA is dry, with a quenching bitterness and a pointed hop character featuring Pacific Gem, Amarillo, El Dorado, & Simcoe. Designed with slightly lower alcohol content for longevity and reduced calories, we are happy to add this new offering to the flagship family!

12oz can. Canning date stamp on bottom is '10/23/23'.
Cloudy, straw colored body. One finger of white head quickly becomes an island and stepped ring. Leaves behind partial rings of lacing.
Aroma of tangerine and orange citrus. Earthy.
Taste is orange, pineapple, and pine. Floral and earthy. Toasted malts. Gets more bitter, but not extreme, in the aftertaste.
Medium mouth feel. Creates sting on the tongue. Good carbonation.
Easy going and fruity IPA with some bitterness.

Taster at Shade City Brewfest. Golden pour, hazy, small frothy head. Fruity aroma and taste, citrus and tropical with some grassy and floral elements.

I bought a can of this beer from the brewery and am drinking it on a ferry from Tsawwessen to Nanaimo. It poured a hazy golden with thin white head that left some lace. The scent had pineapple and guava notes. The taste was nicely balanced and easy to drink with bright malt base with pineapple, papaya and guava presence. The mouthfeel was medium in body and had good carbonation. Overall it is a great beer.

solid addition to the lineup here, almost in the pale ale range in some respects, very well made, ive liked their saison and wild beer the most, but their hoppy stuff is kicking butt too. this is pale orange, uniformly cloudy but still with a high white head and some apparent liveliness. the hop profile is pretty complex to me in nose and taste, juicy ripe cantaloupe suggests el dorado to me, i get a hint of mandarin orange too, indica dankness, and even a gin note, pretty cool back and forth between fruity and botanical, and the freshness really stands out as well. to me this has a little more body than it needs, not heavy beer at all, but not light and crisp either, and it doesnt really gain a ton of flavor from the malt, its balanced nicely yes, but its not distinctive there, and they could drop out a little starch and weight and have a cleaner brighter brew. thats being too critical though, and if the body is a vector for this hop profile than i am happy to live with it, because the hops pop this off. love the melon and citrus to finish, the oily slickness, and the burst of carbonation. better than scores of other hazy stuff in the market right now, really dug this and so did my father in law!

Fairly cloudy brew with abundant coarse foam in the Brigand chalice. Plush suds on the tongue and a light body. Quite sharp but still drinkable. Aroma is pencil shavings and a hint of citrus. Tastes of old grapefruit peel with a hint of battery acid. Here's one for a quick gulp to scrape the throat on the way down.

From the 12 oz can purchased at the local Co-op market. Dated 12/11/20 so this is an old one, but refrigerated when I bought it. I wonder, though, if aging these hazies causes the hot acidity to mellow a little. Nonetheless, it wears out its welcome quickly.

Lovely hop-forward aroma, with a bit of bright green kitchen herbs along with pepper, mild dankness, and tropical and citrus fruit.

Similar presentation on the palate, with the dankness restrained and the brighter notes emphasized. Not super juicy, but moderately sweet given the modest ABV.
