another brilliant funky beer from these guys with a cool label, whoever is doing their art is a talent! this is wood fermented and aged, simple on the malt side, wheat and pils, with a secondary fermentation on peaches with whatever wild yeasts these guys are using. this to me is just a little more sour than some of their others have been, a touch more bacterial and acidic, but there is some fleshy sweetness left from the peaches, and the beer remains balanced. i think its crazy this is so strong, it drinks almost delicate to me, not this robust at all. its a bit flat looking from the bottle, and it doesnt have much carbonation when i drink it, but thats really my only critique, i wish it had more life to it, but the flavors here are amazing, lots of oak along with its tannins, white wine character, and vanilla notes, lots of funk on the brett side drying this out, and some puckery tartness as well, lightly lemony there which seems to compliment the peach. the fruit is so real and so ripe, its juicy and drippy in here, and the sourness makes it pop. the oak is nice to back it up, and the grain flavor and mouthfeel is really light. overall an exceptional beer thats approaching lambic level of funkiness, gorgeous use of this fruit, and something i hope to drink again. these guys have my full attention right now! well worth the price here...
