Truth in advertising-- it's an American Pilsner. Which means lots of hops and some kind of resiny insistence that no German would think of. Pours a clear amber with plenty of foam in the Hopleaf goblet. Aromas of flowers, straw, and soudough bread. Just slightly sweet with some malty taste followed by an increasing bitterness. Overall this is bold and hoppy sort of Pilsner with a bitterness beyond expectations. From the 12 oz can purchased at Elizabeth Station. Not dated.

Draft at The Handlebar. Clear golden pour, foamy white head. Aroma is grainy, biscuity. Taste is clean biscuit malts, bready, finishing with a light snap, kiss of hops.

Served in .5L Willi Becher with over an inch of white head that had very good retention and light lacing. Poured a clean, clear, bright, dark yellow color.
The aroma had solid, earthy grains and floral hops. Very much the same on the tongue, with a bit of sweetness as well.
The body was medium-light, smooth, and had a semi-dry finish. Drinkability was good, an easy quaff. Overall, a nice and enjoyable brew. Worth a shot if you see it.

Had on tap. Clear golden body with two fingers of white foam and plenty of lacing. Decent orange, lemon, and pine in the nose with white bread crusts. Taste hits first with this combo from the nose, but then there is suspended nothingness in the form of watery malt. Finish brings back the hops for a muted and earthy encore. Feel is crisp, clean, highly carbonated, and thin. Summer crusher with no depth
