12oz can at share. Hazy, pale golden pour, small foamy white head. Grainy aroma, mild hops. Taste is biscuity, dry with a light lemony bite at the finish.

another tasty aslan lager, man they do a lot of these and they all have their own personality, all so good. this one is an italian pils, which we should probably have as its own category here on BA. its done in collaboration with lost grove, who has been doing some cool collaborations lately for sure. this is bright and summery, a little less intensely hoppy than some others in this emerging style space, but still well hoppy, clean and refined, very professionally executed, no surprise there. the hop profile is what makes this unique to me, although the freshness of the pils malt, and its structure, are nice too, uncommon even, but the hops make this pop. softly grassy up front, noble without spiciness or bitterness, but as it warms some lime leaf and fragrant floral aspects emerge, definite springtime vibes with this one, especially as the sun shines on me while i drink it. light orange peel, chamomile, and minerals in here too. its nice and dry after being flavorful from the grain in the middle, and the bitterness is quite light. the lager yeast is subtle, maybe faintly european but really bright and fast, could be fermented real cold, seems well conditioned and quenching overall. i liked this a lot, hope to see the cans around, i know it got packaged but i had it on tap. great to see so many new aslan beers around, glad its working for them in idaho, i love what they do! i could easily drink a dozen of these...
