deliciously hoppy and modern pale ale, a bit hazy, unfiltered for sure, bright and fresh though, not dense or heavy at all, nicely carbonated, and holding a tall creamy white head on top of the orange tinted base brew. the nose is awesome, cantaloupe at the peak of ripeness, a little key lime and coconut meat thing, and some definite tangerine or clementine, bold but not really in that dank family, and with enough from the pale malt and maybe some wheat that it seems well balanced. the flavor is fruity hops all the way, this is off dry but the malt isnt a huge factor to my palate, instead its orange tic tacs, sliced navel orange, and juicy drippy melon with the rind still on, light grassy and spicy back end notes as it comes up to temperature, nothing at all from the yeast this is nice and tidy on the ferment. its got a little body but stays light to drink, and there is only light bitterness on the swallow. refreshing when its nice and cold, pretty complex as it warms up. well made, gorgeously hopped, distinct from the crowd, a great food beer, and another hit from aslan. so glad to have these guys in the market now, they do so many things so well. love how this is melon forward and super fresh, could be el dorado hops leading the charge but i dont know, nice work!
