This is an excellent pilsner overall, if a touch light in character. Pale straw, it has a big white head steadily shrinking with a tiny bit of lace. Aroma is very nice, full grain and herbs. Light body with nice white-bread and grain character through the aftertaste. There is nice herbal hop character with a tinge of citrus. Moderate bitterness and sweetness well balanced.

Pours a clear golden yellow with long-lasting foam in the Maredsous goblet. Light bodied with a sudsy mouthfeel. Aromatic with resin, an herbal note, and straw. This is a rather plain and simple Lager. Rather sweet and grainy with a pleasant kiss of hops. Aftertaste is cereal and a slight bitterness with herbal hops that remind me of the European kind. I also think of spruce tips. From the 16 oz can purchased at the Community Coop market. Dated 04/16/24.
