Bright amber brew with loads of white foam in the Hopleaf goblet. Froth and spritzy on the tongue. Not much aroma but cereal. This is a different sort of Lager. The style guide says "the malt-forward flavor and sweetness of a German-style Helles, but the bitter base of a German-style Pilsner," which pretty well sums it up. Actually it's really quite sweet, like a pumpkin beer, but surprisingly pleasant. Not one for quaffing, and it's certainly only a tad bitter, but I keep sipping with enjoyment. From the 12 oz can purchased at Elizabeth Station. Date uncertain.
