Handsome dark red-amber brew with abundant off-white foam in the Maredsous goblet. Pleasant aroma of roasted grain and something herbal. Starts out sweet and tangy which helps with the very hoppy flavor. Tastes of resin, a hint of honey, and a barky finish. Aftertaste is quite bitter as with millions of Amber ales. Overall this is quite drinkable in the usual overhopped Amber tradition but quite lovely to behold. From the 12 oz can purchased at Elizabeth Station. Dated 02/16/26.
