Our Red Ale has a blend of medium to dark crystal malts to give way to a toasted caramel profile. Mosaic, Galaxy, Cascade and Centennial hops are used throughout, giving this dry hopped beer notes of pineapple, stone fruit, and grassy hop flavors and aromas. The Red Ale has a firm bitterness that does not overpower, but balances the sweetness of the malt and then ends with a dry session-able finish.

On tap at Newhall Refinery in Newhall, CA.
Pours a clear copper with a foamy khaki head that settles to a partial film on top of the beer. Foamy swaths of lace form around the glass on the drink down. Smell is of malt, citrus fruit, citrus zest, apricot, and peach aromas. Taste is much the same with citrus zest, earth, and slight herbal hop flavors on the finish. There is a medium amount of hop bitterness on the palate with each sip. This beer has a lower level of carbonation with a slightly crisp mouthfeel. Overall, this is a pretty good beer with lots of fruity aromas and earthy flavors.
