*Poured into a tulip glass from a 12oz can at 53F*
To be honest, I bought this beer entirely based on the attractive artwork on the can. This was my first Session IPA and I was not disappointed by the overall quality and drink-ability of this beer. I snagged the last can so I assumed that this was a pretty popular beer. But, when I got on BA I was surprised that there weren't many reviews of this online.
This beer poured a hazy honey-yellow, the head was an inch thick with good retention. Typical of IPAs, the fruit-y and citrus-y aromas of the hops immediately flooded my nose, smelling heavily of passion fruit and grapefruit, with hints of mangoes, under-ripe peaches and oranges.
On my first sip, a nice balance of herbal and fruit-y notes developed. Light flavors of orange peel, peaches, and passion fruit were immediately apparent, these flavors were complemented well with some pine with a bit of honey and ginseng notes. The nice balance of these herbal and fruity flavors fell kind of flat and didn't last very long as I was immediately greeted afterwards with a resin-y bitter taste which lingered for a good while.
I feel as though the strongest aspect of this beer lies in its mouthfeel and drink-ability. It was smooth and clean with a light body, this coupled with the fact that it has such a low ABV for an IPA makes this beer a good choice for people who love IPAs but typically can't have too many because they'll get absolutely trashed.
Overall, this was a pretty solid beer. Personally, I wish the great tastes of the flavoring hops weren't so overpowered by the bittering hops which lingered a bit too long on the tongue, but the mouthfeel and drink-ability of this beer definitely make up for this lack of lasting flavors.

pours a pleasant golden yellow with a solid pillowy head that persists like pancake on a griddle.
Smell is all bright citrus and pineapple. Tangerine, orange, and some light grapefruit along with the pineapple.
Taste follows the smell with more sweet citrus and pineapple front and center. Tart grapefruit pith leads, with tangerine/navel orange/lemon flesh through the middle, and pineapple heavy on the tail end. Quite flavorful for a lower abv hoppy brew.
Feel is solid, good body and doesn't veer into wateriness too bad.
Overall this is a nice hoppy brew. It's got a lot of flavor and is semi sessionable at only 5.5%. Nicely made beer.
