Pours a clear amber with plenty of foam in the Chimay chalice. Very light body with spritzy mouthfeel. Flavorful with fruit, starting with green melon and ending with canned peaches. Warm with malt and more sweet than most "single" IPAs. I think of malted milk balls for some reason, minus the chocolate. Aromatic with apricot.
From the 12 oz can purchased off the warm shelves at the big box store. Not sure whether the date NOV2221 is a packaged date or "best by." Still can't really complain about the stuff even if everything on the label is BS. Down the hatch!

Can pour- clear golden straw color with quickly dissipating white head leaving scattered lacing. Nose is mild malt with earthy and herbal notes. Taste follows with a mild bitterness leading to a slightly dry finish.

First review for me and this beer. L-clear straw yellow. Finger and a half of semi fine bubbles, nice retention. S- pretty typical for St. Archer. Piney, small amount of sharp ethanol, rich malt citrus and a hint of tropical fruit. T- surprisingly light and crisp! Modest pine bitter, dry lime citrus and unripe peach, light clean malt, slight boozyness in a good way, well hid for 7% in such a dry beer. As is warms as expected the malt becomes more prominent and I get more tropical mango and pineapple. F-Wow! The carbonation is prickly but it’s wonderfully balanced with the rich creamy malt feel that I am sure comes from what they say is “a sizable amount of flaked wheat.” It’s a rare impressive balance of opposites. O- I had no idea what to expect when I tried this. I am a big fan of crisp IPA’s especially when the balance is done so well! This is understated yet complex and I love it!
