Basic tasting stout. Exactly what you think a stout would taste like, without any bells, whistles, or surprises. Ever so slight roasted flavor sneaks in there at times.
This beer looks bigger than it drinks. Although, not a bad offering by any means.

Seven words or less: Solid local stout, but nothing special.
Appearance: Has a nice opaque, black look with a small head.
Smell: Probably my favorite part. I thought it smelled delicious with coffee predominating.
Taste: Also good. This is probably the best of the SS beers that I've had. I mostly got coffee and a bit of maltiness.
Mouthfeel: I thought this was a little weak. I would have liked it to be a bit thicker, creamier.
Overall: Solid option that I'd get again. One of the best of the local stouts I've had.
