Consumed as part of a small flight towards the end of a date with the wife in C-Bus. Local brew, and damn fresh. It was a beautiful deep amber hue, with just a bit of head (albeit, not a full pint pour, so... might have different head in a bigger amount). The aroma poured out of the glass, and I was smelling it from a foot away. BIG aromas here. Big hops, definitely Citra in there... wonderful nose. Fresh citrus tastes (lots of orange) and floral hints. Superbly balanced brew. Excellent bitterness. Nice IPA mouthfeel. This was a perfect example of a knockout local beer, super fresh, chosen because it WAS local... and far exceeding expectations. Wizard indeed.

For the record this is a wheat IPA, not a fan of IPA, but I do like wheats. That being said I was surprised at how much I liked this beer. I generally go for malty beers but this was good.
In the same way a spicy dish will sneak up on you so will this. Initially the hops were in check, kinda balanced, as I drank more I noticed more and eventually did get to what I like to call hop overload, where you taste it but start to become numb to it.
Over all a good beer. If this was bottled this would be in my top 10; but then again I am from Columbus and can't help but to root for the home team, even better when the home teams join forces!
