From the 12 oz can in a snifter. This excellent imperial pours a
amber tinged golden with a fantastic head of white foam that settles
to a thick ring, thick clumping layer, and sports some excellent lacing.
Nose of orange marmalade, pineapple, pine, honey sweet malts, and
grapefruit. Flavors hit the markers with pineapple, orange zest, pine,
herbal hops, honey sweet malts, caramel, and sugar dashed grapefruit.
Very nice mouth feel; medium body, smooth, medium light teetering towads
light carbonation, and a balanced sweet and hop laden finish.
Balance....sweet and hop laden....nothing more to say, they do every style I
have had from them exceptionally well.
Regards to the brewer from a not a hoppy beer guy who can enjoy this hoppy offering!
Cheers

I got a 6pck of cans of this beer from my local Kroger store. It poured a clear golden with thin white ring head that is leaving a spotty lace. The scent had dank dark fruit notes. The taste was nicely balanced and easy to drink with sweet malt base supported by a dank pineapple and mixed berry presence. The mouthfeel was medium in body and had good carbonation. Overall it is a solid beer.

It's big. It's sticky. You'll feel the 10% abv if you have more than one. Nose is faint for the style; peach preserves, some general maltiness and maybe a splash of bubblegum? Opens up more on the tongue, with boozy sweetness, caramel sauce, and candied orange. This one is a syrupy double (triple?) ipa that I typically avoid, but I try to leave out my personal taste when writing a review. Chewy mouthfeel, and lower bitterness add to the sticky quality. Alcohol becomes more noticeable as the beer warms up in the glass.

Poured into a 13 oz Teku glass canned on 3/19/21. Pours a clear orange with a finger plus sticky white head that leaves thin wisps of lace with excellent retention. 4.25
Aroma peach, marijuana, mandarin, apricot, and grapefruit rind. 4
Taste follows peach, marijuana, mandarin, apricot, and grapefruit big and bold. 4
Mouthfeel is above average, a tad dry, plenty of life, and at 10% ABV really approachable. 4
Overall this is a really nice DIPA, old school west coast but not crazy bitter and really nicely balanced. Thanks jzeilinger for this can. 4

Canned on 03-19-21.
A - Very bright and clear medium gold color with thick, soapy, white frothy head and lacing.
S - Citrus with light malt over the top.
T - Citrus, some pineapple, sticky pine, and alcohol presence.
M - Thick, silky, and some lip smacking stickiness on the lips.
O - The ABV is definitely present but it doesn't drink like a 10% beer.
