A - Honey colored and a bit cloudy with a finger or two of thick white head when poured into a snifter

S - Citrusy and bitter, lemony aroma

T - Definitely a sour finish with a bit of bitterness and nicely balanced with the citrus throughout

M - Medium to light carbonation and pretty smooth for an IPA

O - I'm usually not a big fan of sours but this one worked for me. It was nicely balanced and nothing seemed to overwhelm the beer. It also occurred to me that even though they're often used interchangeably there really is a difference between 'bitter' (like in an IPA) and 'sour' (like this beer). Like everything else I've had from Seventh Son, this is well done and worth a try.
