Dark coppery, malty, and sweet. 10.5 ABV per the Cicada-festooned can. Timely!
Poured into a 16OZ be hoppy glass, which just nucleatizes the bejeezus out of beer or something. I don't know. Damn fine beer though. Incredibly smooth. Goes down like a saison. (That's what she said.)

From the 12 oz can in a snifter. This solid brew pours a dark
burnt auburn with a very nice khaki colored head of foam
that settles to a thick ring, thin layer, and sports some
very nice lacing. Nose of dark fruits of dates, figs, subtle
clove, orange zest, dark brown sugars, and peppery spices.
Flavors are exceptionally well presented with orange zest,
cranberry, candy sugars, clove, coriander, fig, dates, and touches
of white pepper and herbal hop notes. Nice mouth feel; medium
body, light carbonation, nicely warming, smooth, and finishing
moderately dry with a solid herbal note.
Overall, Seventh Son continues to impress, an exceptional
brew from an exceptional little brewery!
Fantastic!
Cheers

I got Abaddon via a beer trade. I thought it was great.
Look: Black opaque with a two inch mocca head.
Aroma: Nice sweet and fruity aroma
Taste: Sweet malts, dark fruit, orange, perhaps banana, spice/pepper, extremely good.
Feel: It is smooth and creamy with a medium body.

Had this on tap at The Daily Growler in Upper Arlington. It pours a nice dark brown with thin off-white head that doesn't last very long. The aroma is malty and has a definite dark fruit element to it. The flavor starts with a very well-balanced malt and hops flavor. This initial hit is followed by dark fruit, cloves, and a peppery warming note. As a fan of Belgian Quads, I'm impressed that a local brewery has done such a nice job with one. It's certainly up there with Wolf's Ridge's Quad and Smokehouse Brewing's Quad.

750 ml bottle. Served in a DFH Signature glass, the beer pours very dark brown with a ruby red tinge, and about an inch light tan head that stuck around for a long time. There's also a good amount of lacing. Aroma is nice, the brew smells like dark and dried fruit, peppery and sweet spices, candied oranges, and some brown sugar. Taste is similar to the aroma, but with the addition of some clove, bananas and a bit of booziness. It's mostly a fruity and spicy tasting brew. Mouthfeel/body is medium/full, it's a little creamy and coating with a good amount of carbonation. I thought this was a good Quad, glad I picked this up! $10.99 a bottle.
