I'm in Columbus this weekend visiting family and friends and stopped off at this brewery for a bit. Having this beer on-tap. This beer is a collaboration that Seventh Son brewed in conjunction with Land Grant. Served to me in a 10 oz snifter, this beer draws a mainly clear, slightly cloudy, dark golden color with a white head about 2/3 of an inch thick when first served to me. Head settles to a medium sized ring lining the inside of the glass with decent lacing. Slight aromas of caramel malt sweetness along with stronger aromas of agave nectar and cantaloupe and melon that's rounded out with some citrus and floral hop bitterness. The taste is pretty much the same, with some notes of caramel malt sweetness that gives way to more sweetness from the agave nectar that's used in this beer and hints of melon and cantaloupe. Rounded out with a fairly citrusy, floral hop bitterness. Has a somewhat crisp, mainly smooth and frothy, slightly creamy, medium to full bodied mouthfeel with moderate carbonation. Has a clean finish along with a dry aftertaste. A very good beer here that I'm glad I got the chance to try.
