Google this beer and you're going to learn more about Outkast than you are a solid IPA. And that's what this is, which is refreshing since it was preceded by a couple of good, but completely interchangeable IPAs straight out of central casting. Oh, it's bitter with notes of pine and grapefruit. So, like 98.6% of every IPA ever brewed? Not this guy, though. I got a fair amount of banana sweetness. Maybe it was just me. Still, a standout brew on an impromptu IPA tasting day.
Also, Banana Sweetness is my stripper name.

Canned on: 2-08-23
A - Clear, dark medium gold colored pour with a healthy layer of creamy white foam and mild carbonation.
S - Sticky pine and dank citrus with some dank weed and some spiciness dominate the nose. Overall aroma is dank, dank, ... and dank.
T - A light caramel malt base up front before being beaten down with a wall of oily citrus and dank weedy/herbal presence while finishing balanced with a slight nod to the bitter side. Dank weedy spiciness and sticky pine hang out on the palate for a good long time long after the sip.
M - Big medium body to borderline full with gentle carbonation on the tongue. No detectable ABV whatsoever.
O - This is a fantastic West Coast style (IMO). Worth checking out and kudos to Seventh Son on this one.

Pours a clear deep amber color with a dense cap of white head.
Aroma is super dank. Lots of weed with some caramel malt and citrus.
There is a nice malt sweetness that balances the bitter hops. More weed, pine and grapefruit peel in the flavor.
I thoroughly enjoyed this bitter but well balanced west coast IPA.

I got a can of this beer from my local beer store just around the corner. It's a collaboration with Beer Engine. It poured a clear golden with thin white head that is leaving a spotty lace. The scent had pine hop notes. The taste was nicely balanced and easy to drink with slight bitter hop and pine resin flare. The mouthfeel was medium in body with good carbonation. Overall its a good beer.
