From the 12 oz can in a snifter. This solid little brew pours a
dark brownish black with a decent had of off white foam that
settles to a thick ring, thin swirling pool, and shows light lacing.
Nose of dark chocolate, dark roasted coffee, and earthy malt
notes. Flavors follow the nose but fall off a bit with dark cocoa,
dark coffee, and a light caramel malt notes that make me think
more of a coffee brown ale than a stout. Nice mouth feel; medium
body, medium light carbonation that is crisp and effervescent, and
a rich cocoa and coffee bitter malt finish.
Overall, a decent brew.
Cheers

12 ounce can, canned on 05/29/2020. Served in a pint glass, the beer pours dark brown/black with about an inch and a half tan head that stuck around for a while. Decent amount of lacing. Aroma is nice, the brew smells like coffee, roasted malt, dark chocolate and some caramel. Taste is similar to the aroma, but there's also some dark bread/grainy flavors noticeable too. I think the coffee stands out in both the aroma and taste. Mouthfeel/body is medium, it's smooth and a bit coating with a moderate amount of carbonation, but does seem a bit thin at times. I thought this was a good easy drinking coffee stout, certainly worth a try!
