Look - back syrup with a fantastic tan foam
Smell - very earthy hops and roasty malts with dark chocolate and my guess would be dark roast sumatra coffee
Taste - bitter earthy hops with that roasted malt and dark chocolate and dark coffee like the smell. More bitter than I'd prefer for this beer
Feel - smooth creamy full body with a medium light carb
Overall - pretty good but more better than I'd prefer for this beer

From the 12 oz can in a snifter. This mighty brew pours a deep coal
black with a fantastic head of dark brown foam that settles to a thick
ring and layer with exceptional lacing. Nose of dark coffee, dark bakers
cocoa, earthy malts, and assertive herbal and grassy hops. Flavors
exceed the nose by presentation with dark bakers bittersweet cocoa,
dark coffee, subtle cream, and assertive hops making for a dance
between the bitter malt and strong hop notes. Nice mouth feel;
smooth, slick, coating, light carbonation, lightly warming, full body,
and a bitter malt and hop finish.
Overall, nice, but could use some balance which is seriously
lacking. That said it is still a solid brew for the money---10 for a 6.
Cheers
