From the 12 oz can in a snifter. This fantastic coffee chocolate
stout blended with bourbon barrel stout pours a rich and
luscious coal black with dark tea highlights and a nice head
of light brown foam that settles to a thick ring, thin layer, and
displays some nice light lacing. Nose of rich dark chocolate
and cocoa, vanilla, light bourbon, vanilla, dark roasted coffee,
and sweet cream touches. Flavors follow the nose and hit the
WOW factor! Sweet dark chocolate, dark roasted coffee, moderate
char, cream, vanilla, subtle bourbon, and faint oak. Nice mouth feel;
full body, smooth as silk, coating, rich, robust, lightly warming
which is a feat considering the ABV (!), and a malt forward NON-
cloying finish that is roasted and moderately sweet.
Overall.........wow.....didn't think they would surpass Oubliette.....
I was wrong......I am thankful!
Cheers
