From the 12 oz can in a snifter. This beast pours a dark and murky brwon with
a modest head of khaki foam that sizzles to a thin ring with faint lacing. Give it a swirl
and this one has some fine legs. Nose of heavy ginger, rum, bourbon touches,
vanilla, and brown sugar with subtle spice notes. Flavors surpass the nose with
bourbon, rum, vinous brandy, molasses, and heavy ginger with some spice
cake elements. Mouth feel is medium, faint carbonation, smooth, very rich,
sweet (verging on cloying but still within the bounds of sanity), and a warming
medium dry finish.
Overall, a very nice and solid brew but there is a LOT going on here.
Great for the ginger lovers and barrel lovers who love dessert brews.
This brewery keeps impressing, this one is no exception
Cheers
