This is a really good IPA, well balanced and a good hop bitterness. Had a few years ago at Tualatin location.

Dark amber pour, fluffy head, modest lacing. PNW IPA style, true to form. Nose is citrus, some floral and some malty - yeasty background. Taste is worth sipping gradually and let the beer come to cellar temperature. Nice hop flavor, mild bitterness and smooth finish. Not especially dry. Well rounded. We'd seek this out again. From a bomber-sized can ( 1 pint, 3.2 oz) cannned in early March.

never heard of this beer or this brewery, so was pleased to find something new to me in the portland airport. i had a little higher hopes for it though, much as i appreciate the huge frosted glass and the ice bar to rest it on at the bar top. the beer has a medium amber color to it, older school looking than expected, and quite a bit of malt to it when i get to drinking it. the head is high and off white and lasting, and the aroma is quite fresh and balanced, neither sweet from the malt color or assertively bitter as the name sort of seems to suggest, falconers flight in this one, which almost always presents itself as bitter to my senses no matter what the recipe. there is some fruitiness to the hops that is unexpected, kiwi and even berry to me, before more familiar bitter orange and grapefruit come in, a little pine layer too reminiscent of simcoe. fresh for sure. the malt is there all the way through it, a bit sweet in the center, but balanced in the finish with the hop bite, some breadiness to it but short of caramel or long boiled to me, just a bit hearty, and a big glass of this feels like a lot of beer, even with the average abv, its just filling, even this cold and with fine carbonation. there is a lot of flavor in this, modern on the hop side, less so from the grain, but its a satisfying beer, even if i dont quite want as much of it as is in my glass. some bite to the finish, pine and pepper and bitter orange lead the way, lightly green, very fresh. not bad overall, but not amazing. i will look for more beers from these guys next time i am up this way.

Clear orange gold with two fingers of cream color head. Good lace as the head drops.
Smell is floral hops with some caramel malt.
Taste is some resin and floral hops the caramel malts take some of the edge of the bitterness.
Mouthfeel is medium with good carbonation. The finish is dry and lightly bitter.
Overall an easy drinking IPA. Enjoyed it. Packaged date was 04/05/2019.

Amber-copper hue and malty (yet not sweet) aroma, this beer is very well balanced. Not too hoppy (bitter) and not too sweet. At 7% booze, the flavor of alcohol doesn't enter into it. It's just an enjoyable brew. Clean. Not too heavy (but far from thin). 4 out of 5 about sums it up. Not spectacular, but very, very good. I'll drink it again.

This is another great NW IPA. Hazy, deep orange in color, creamy head with streak lacing. The aroma is so sweet and tropical. Fruit and floral with herbal notes and bread malt in the flavor. I enjoy the use of the Falconer's Flight hops. This adds a citrus burst to the taste as well. A very good beer!

Thanks Dad for picking this one up for me in Portland.
32oz can into a tulip. Pours a clear deep reddish amber w/ a big sticky off-white head, good lacing around the glass.
Aroma is primarily clean pine and citrus hops.
Taste is a blend of caramel and pale malt and piney, citrusy hops. Sticky and resinous with a nice semi-bitter finish.
Mouthfeel is smooth and crisp, thirst-quenching. Highly drinkable.
Overall a really nice IPA in a very large format.
