Served in a snifter at the 15th Avenue Hop House (great bar btw..) , the beer is a rusty apricot with virtually no head.
Nose of melons, straw and sour patch candy.
The taste is interesting. It is sour but tempered by the sweetness of the Mellon. It is grainy, a touch acidic and tart.
The beer is smooth and slick with virtually no carbonation.
It's a bit different and I liked it.
