Poured from 16oz can into a tulip. Canned 7/10/19.
Appearance: dark golden hue with a ton of murky haze and and a finger of dark-ivory foam. Since it's advertised as cloudy, I would say the brewers hit the mark here.
Smell: sweet, bready malt, with a tropical fruit and citrus aroma atop. It's good, but the sweetness almost overpowers the hops.
Taste: tropical hops with mango and grapefruit; there's also a little earthy character in there. The malt is sweet and bready, like in the aroma, and the bitterness is quite low. It's smooth, and I like it, but it's knocking on the door of too-sweet.
Mouthfeel: medium-rich body with a moderate carbonation and decent creaminess.
Overall: I like the flavor of this beer, but it could use tweaks -- less of the aforementioned sweet, and maybe bump up the intensity on the hops.
