Poured from 750mL bottle into my BeerAdvocate teku. Bottle 290 of 293.
Appearance: medium orange hue with a tiny touch of haze and a good apparent effervescence. Head is a thin layer of frothy ivory foam. I was perhaps expecting something redder, but this is not bad.
Smell: lightly tart and a little bit oaky with just a soupçon of cherry. It's a lovely mix but perhaps a little light on the volume.
Taste: the flavor is quite lovely indeed. The oak adds a little vanilla and the tartness is rounded out with a bit of sweetness to leave a nice candylike quality. The cherry is light but definitely there -- really good!
Mouthfeel: medium-light body with a moderate carbonation and a decent creaminess for the style.
Overall: this beer is super refreshing and really works for me. I wish some of the flavors turned up a little more in the aroma, but the subtleness really works in the flavor. It's super refreshing, too - I'm going to go finish this bottle out in the sun. Wonderful!
