Modest haze with a light green hue to the pale gold color. Moderate head but it provides several streaks for lace on the glass.

From the can, I get a beautiful floral hop smell. From the glass, the paler malt comes through, but still in the background.

Full bodied for a session beer, but there's also plenty of carbonation. The malt holds up throughout the tasting. The hop comes in slowly but dominantly. The finish has elements of sage and weeds. Moderate length for the aftertaste.

Poured from a 12 oz can into a tulip glass.

Pours a hazy golden orange color with 2 fingers of thick, creamy head. The retention is absurd, leaving the thick head resting atop the beer like a fat blanket. Leaves some beautiful cobweb lacing.

The aroma brings a tidal wave of pineapple juice right up front, followed by plenty of citrusy notes; namely fresh grapefruit, lemon and tangerines. There's some faint spicy hop notes on the back.

The flavor has some pineapples and peaches, followed by a big wave of tangerines, grapefruit and lemon zest. Finishes earthy and piney.

The feel is medium bodied with moderate carbonation. Very soft, pillowy soft, and exceedingly creamy and smooth. Faintly dry on the finish.

Overall, this is a great session IPA. The flavor is intense and completely belies the low ABV. The body is that of a much bigger beer, and the fact this is well under 5% is just nuts.

Extremley light drinkable ipa goes down easy at first with carbonation coming second. Looks quite nice very hazy dark orange brew.
Strong citrus notes along with hints of grapefruit deep in the flavor. Overall would recommend for a session ipa!

Appearance – Half finger head on a clear yellow body. 5 oz. sample glass.

Aroma – Fruity and very floral, like walking into a greenhouse filled with roses.

Taste – Strong pine and hop resins… zero floral.

Mouthfeel – Sticky and thick enough to stand up to the pine flavors.

Overall – Interesting interplay between aroma and flavor, but good.

A: slight haze; medium gold in color; 2 finger ivory head that receded to a thin cap; nice lacing;

S: citrus, lemon, and grass;

T: follows the nose from start to finish; mild bitterness on the finish;

M: light to medium bodied; moderate carbonation; lightly dry finish;

O: nice balance for a session IPA:

cloudy golden color
Big head
Very citrus taste
big initial hops with Lingering hops some what overpowering that do not fade
Seems to heavy for a session
Would prefer they tone down hops and ABV for session style
cut hops 20 ibu and abv to 4-4.3 and we have a winner

L - Hazy golden pour with a thick, fairly bubbly off-white head. Good lacing the length of the beer.
S - Citrus right from the can and all the way through. Nice.
T - Pretty strong hop-forward presence.
F - Fairly thick, sticky feel from the hops.
O - From first taste: this is a session ale? Seems somewhat closer to a DIPA in some ways to me, but a nice beer overall.

A- Standard can pours into the glass with a fairly hazy pale yellow body and a massive, foamy head. The white cap rises rapidly to about three fingers high with infinite retention.

S- Herbal, spicy and floral hops lead the way with just a bit of citrus fruit and earthy tones. Beyond that is a hint of sweets and pale grains.

T- Follows up on the aroma with the spicy and floral hops leading the way. Adding onto those are notes of sweet oranges, clementine zest, grapefruit, earthy, pine, early grey tea and zesty hops. Somewhat sweet with cereal, yeast bread, apple, grape and cracker hints.

MF- Puffy and fairly creamy light-medium overall body. The carbonation is on the high side with an herbal bitter ending.

Sessionable but really lacks a standout flavor. The hops are mostly herbal and floral and nothing really grasps the tastebuds overall.

Poured from a can given to me by a generous trader as an extra. Pours dark amber with a finger of head. Light citrus smells with a faint scent of hops. Fairly muted taste that isn't overly bitter. Not a bad session IPA.

On-tap 11/6/2016 at Flynn’s in Mansfield, MA, served in a tapered pint glass.

A: The beer is a cloudy orange/amber color, with a short off-white head that fades slowly and leaves a thick lace on the glass.

S: The aroma contains fruity citrus, floral hops and caramelized malts.

T: The taste starts out sweet with a strong citrus flavor up front. Then a strong but not over-powering piney hops bitterness comes in. The malt character is hearty but not too heavy and brings a very good balance. The after-taste is slightly sweet and slightly hoppy.

M: Very crisp and very smooth, medium body, medium carbonation, finish is clean.

O: Tasty, goes down quite easily, not too filling, mild kick, very good representation of style, this is a very solid IPA to pound down for a long time.

Pours a cloudy pale amber with a finger of head that rapidly dissipates to a cap leaving a fair bit of lacing. Faint citrus oranginess. Bitterness right up front seems to follow the liquid across to tongue and then evaporate.

Poured into a 13 oz tulip glass not sure when it was canned. Pours a hazy orange, with a 2 inch white head that leaves a little lace.

Smell is pine, tangerine, lemon, biscuit, and grapefruit.

Taste follows pine, biscuit, and tangerine upfront and bitter lemon grapefruit in fairly bitter finish.

Mouthfeel is on the light side, nice carbonation, a touch dry, and easy drinking.

Overall a solid session IPA, pretty bitter wish it was a little more tropical in flavor and less funky bitter.

On tap at the Nashua Garden. Got a 16oz pour for $3.00 during Happy Hour.

Pours a slightly cloudy, medium golden color. Head is thin, fine, creamy and white. Has a bit of lacing here and there. Nose has a touch of toasty caramel and mild grapefruit. Has a decent feel, fairly smooth with a medium body.

Has a smidge of malty sweetness but leans much more to the bitter side. It's a bit pithy, with some puckery lemon rind, grapefruit and a hint of melon. The finish is rather dry, with the bitterness lingering. Not a bad brew, all in all. Prosit!

From the 12 fl. oz. can that has no date. Sampled on February 17, 2016.

It pours a slightly hazy orange tone with a big, foamy white head.

The first clue that this might be an old can came from the aroma which had a kind of perfume, vaguely spiced aroma. It seemed like it had faded.

The body was around medium.

The taste had a decent enough bitterness but the burnt malt character seemed to take control of it. I might have liked a fresher one unless it is supposed top be like this. I doubt it.

A great session beer. Amazing that they can get this much flavor and hop bite out of a beer that comes in at 4.6%. This can stand up to other IPA's that clock in with a higher ABV.

Clear gold with a substantive sea foam head. Grapefruit and tangerine aroma. Bold acidic pineapple flavor with grapefruit backup. Some malty sweetness in back. Plenty bitter. Malt doesn't contribute much but I don't find it to be noticeably lacking like most session IPAs. Chewy, resin filled mouthfeel.

One of the best session IPAs IMO.

Fantastic citrusy nose, grapefruit upfront with equally appreciative taste, especially for a session. Could drink these all day. Nice surprise.

Served in a snifter at the Union Brewhouse in Weymouth.

Appearance: A one finger head was poured that reduced to a thin layer. It is an orange amber color with good clarity and vision of bubbles coming up through the glass. Frothy lacing down the glass as the beer was drank too.

Smell: Lemony, citrus, herbal, and grassy, toasted, bidcuity, and pale malts.

Taste: Nice lemony and citrus hop glavor, chewy, and slightly sweet malts, and mild bitterness in the rear.

Mouthfeel: Light to medium bodied, crisp, chewy, medium carbonation, and crushable.

Overall: Definitely grabbing another glass. This log won't last long here at the bar.

Yay cans, also a new style I really love, session IPAs.

Pours a huge creamy fluffy head that hits 2+ fingers and makes me stop pouring, fades at a med pace, fizzy bubbles, spotty soapy lacing, slight hazy honey orange color.

Nose is awesome! Great fresh hops, tons of dank citrus, little pith, with musty notes, orange juice, tangerine, a little grapefruit pith, some tropical notes with mango even, nice generic fruity notes as well, juicy tropical surprised there are no Kiwi hops, and just a touch of a creamy malt, and really turns into an orange creamscicle.

Taste brings some nice citrus again, big pith and some rind notes, nice dank musty resin with orange juice and orange cream, mild tropical notes with a little grapefruit pith, some mango as well. Juicy as hell, with tons of orange juice, clementine, lots of pith and rind coming later. A little creamy malt base, not much, and a little fresh malt juice, as well as some mild generic fruity notes. Finish brings a big rind and pith, very bitter, some tangerine and grapefruit pith, mango, and even a bit of a spicy hop note lingering. Hops get quite bitter and a bit astringent on the finish.

Mouth is med to lighter bod, nice carb.

Overall quite nice, great hop profile although it gets a bit too astringent and bitter on the finish, for the lack of malts to make it sessionable. Quite enjoyable for a session IPA, I could drink tons of these.

Poured a cloudy lemon yellow color in a Brooklyn Brewhouse glass with a 4 F head which resolved in minutes.

Excellent aroma for a session beer: earthy, citrus, fruit.

Good carbonation- not overdone.

Excellent taste: pine, lemon, citrus with a crisp, bitter hoppy finish.

Overall- one of the better session beers out there. I will look for more of their beers. Will buy again.

Excellent session beer. Nice cloudy yellow/orange color with a head that remains throughout. Smell is a bit faint, but pleasant. Taste is refreshing and light with subtle sweet on the front and bitter on the back. Quite easy to drink. - - be sure to get this Fresh - had one recently that was three months old and it tasted tinny and much less sweet.
