Pours a hazy yellow with a decent head. Has a strong smell of ginger with a sweet ginger & citrus flavor. Nice mouth feel and easy swallow a great summer beer like Sam Adams Porch Rocker. They definitely need to brew this again.

Poured from the bottle into a nonic pint glass.
Turbid and dull IPA like yellow body color, with a hint of light carbonation. Very bleach white three finger fluffy and tiny bubbled head if looking a little like a styrofoam cap. Settles nice and easily to one finger.
Aroma is quite a good ginger punch. Ginger with simple honey sweetness. Good amounts of citrus zest and oil, with touches of lemon. Doesn't come off too sweet or soda like either. Pretty basic, but not much beer character but is getting the job done.
Palate seems to deliver nicely. Basic tangy orange and lemon notes, with a touch of ginger spice. Decent malt and even chewy backbone, with a good fruity finish as well. Slightly dry a bit but manages to stay away from overly cheap candy flavors.
Pretty basic but simple and solid shandy.
