L- Rich deep orange/brown. Pours with a very slight haze (it's bottle conditioned, store+pour carefully) and 3mm just off-white head.
S- Some mild citrus notes, a hint of orange.
T- Wow! Certainly rich as in dense/fruity rather than sweet. It's almost like it's had a hefty shot of Cointreau added. That comes over as liquor-ish given the 7.2% ABV, which powers through here.
F- It's deep, doubty and certainly refined. There's nothing out of place to me, though some others might wish for slightly more prominent carbonation which seems low. One for slow savouring rather than a 'getting a few in' session.
O- What a surprise, this really is a very fine beast-of-the-east. I'll be happy to find and buy this one again; this is different, and something special.
500ml bottle, BB: Dec/2019.
