L- Ruby chestnut, clear (it's bottle-conditioned) with fat 3cm very pale tan head, holds well, still 5-7mm 20+mins later!
S- I just get a malty sense of richness.
T- It's malty alright! With a sense of mild spicing too. Pretty solid in the taste department.
F- Somewhat rich (rich not sweet!) it's a profile of a beer for cooler months/winter.
O- It's a very well put together beer, and somewhat different being tasty, somewhat rich, quite deep, hints of spices... and all of those together usually need a foundation of higher ABV%, this does it on 5.0% which makes it sessionable. Nothing out of place or balance of note to mention. I'd happily buy this again.
500ml Bought from BeersOfEurope/UK for home delivery BB: 10/2020. Basic looking labelling and weird name shouldn't put you off.

We love reviews (150 characters or more)! Check out: How to Review a Beer. You don't need to get fancy. Drop some thoughts on the beer's attributes (look, smell, taste, feel) plus your overall impression. Something that backs up your rating and helps others. Thanks!
