Bottled- Feb 2014. Pours a cloudy mahogany color with a foamy head that fades. Aroma of dark fruit, citrus and bit of caramel. Taste of tart cherries, some caramel sweetness and oak. Has a sharp tart nip that lingers into a dry finish. Medium body, quite tart, but still nicely balanced. Not one of my favorite styles but was much better than I expected.

A - Pours a red mahogany body with a light khaki head that dissipates quickly.
S - Funk, oak, sour twang and lactic acid.
T - A mix of sour funk that's balanced out by a lightly sweet red wine character as well as oak. It's simple, not overly complex and hits the spot. As it warms, it seems some depth goes away and it becomes a bit watery.
M - Light bodied and on the heavy side of light carbonation. Has a dry finish.
O - With some honing in, it'll be a winner in no time.
