From 22oz bottle
L - Pours like a porter. Dark root-beer body with a one finger tan head. Not much lacing or retention.
S - Burnt roasted malts and a very off-putting or acrid smell. Not really much else going on here.
T - The taste is a little better, but it still almost exactly mirrors the nose.
F - Light bodied and low to no carbonation.
O - Just a bad representation of the style all the way around.

So, the first two beers that I had from this brewery were excellent. This one, from a 22 ounce bottle, is disappointing. Thick and black, smokey, charcoal smell...roasted, acrid, burnt, and dark. But...it is also flat...a fizzy head quickly disappears....no depth or body. The beer has some potential, but is a serious mis-fire.
