Like many Brothers beers, it is way too carbonated from the bottle. Once it calms down it looks nice in the glass. Has a moderate coffee and chocolate smell. Taste is sweet. Almost lactose like a milk stout. Some roast and slight chocolate and slight coffee. Not much hop crispness. For a brown ale, not much caramel, brown sugar or toffee flavors at all. Its decent enough for a beer under 4% alcohol. Probably wouldn't be interested to buy again however.
