Thanks to rudzud, bottle 362/420
Pours a nice fizzy 1 finger head that fades fairly quickly typical for wild, head continues to form nicely on swirls, slight hazy golden blond color.
Nose brings tons of oak, and rum, big vanilla buttery oak, so much oak, with nice white molasses like rum, a nice rum. Eventually it gets a nice Belgian blonde malts, little Belgian yeast funk with a Brett funk too. very slight hint of lemony grassy funk.
Taste starts with Brett funk actually, little Brett funk which quickly turns to rum and barrel. Big vanilla and buttery oak, even a little toasted oak. Nice Belgian blonde characters, little malt, blonde malt little orange zest note and lemongrass like, with just a touch of candi sugar sweetness. Mild fruity Belgian esters and touch of warming booze, and decent but lighter Brett funk. Finish is a bit sweet candy like, little blonde malt and candy sugar, touch of warming booze, nice rum and oak lingering.
Mouth is heavier bod, a touch syrupy but not a lot, decent carb, just a touch of warming booze.
Overall very nice, great oak and barrel, great rum, nice Belgian notes with decent but lighter Brett funk, wish the Brett came out a bit more.

Received in a trade and shared with JLindros. Bottle 362/420.
A - Poured into a Kate the Great tulip a nice crystal clear dark golden hue with a thin one finger head that fades to leave thin head with light wisps.
S - Aromas of buttery oak, big good quality rum, nice brett funk, light golden ale notes, malts. This is a big buttery rum nose with nice funk. Nice vanilla, almost toasted. Super aromatic!
T - Taste is a nice vanilla oak, butter, toasted coconut, rich rum, light blonde notes, soft Belgian esters. Lightly sweet, rich, zero alcohol heat. Very flavorful with funky brett notes. Starts with oak butter, vanilla, rich rum, soft barrel, light brett. Very flavorful.
M - Mouthfeel is a bit lightly carbonated, however, the alcohol is completely hidden. Very drinkable.
O - Overall this beer really shocked me. Was not expecting anything this good! Awesome barrel notes, rum, brett. Very neutral base, great beer!

good friend brought this to my beer gurus house for a beer snobbery session. Unreal. Smooth and tasty, absolutely one of the best beers I have had. three brothers has quickly become one of my favorite breweries. I hope to have this beer many times in the future.
