12oz bottle, wine glass, bottled 7/20/21.
Medium hazy rich copper with a small creamy head.
Malty, wet leaves, green grass.
Turbinado sugar, sweet biscuit, and just a touch of noble hops. It’s incredibly creamy and I see the similarity another reviewer remarked to the creaminess of Czech Pilsner. That’s a quality I’d never really noticed about that style, but the Czech Pils I had today had it.
Like I said, creamy, with medium carbonation.
This is an interesting beer. The creaminess is distinctive and not to style. It’s satisfying and odd at the same time.

12 oz bottle with a 21 July 2021 bottling date stamped on the label.
Appearance. Clear, dark orange-amber colored body with a good off-white head.
This is a fine marzen. It leans a little bit to the sweet side for the style with loads of fine caramel notes, but never seems to sweet. The hops add some spice and complexity to a well balanced mix.
Overall. Recommended.

On tap. Pours orange with white head. Aroma and taste of bread and caramel malt and herbal hops. Body is medium and crisp. Long dry finish. Good brew.

Pours a light amber hue with offwhite head. Aroma isn't what I am used to from these beers. It is very Czech lager like on the nose. That kind of milky creamy yeast character carries through in flavor. There are hops to cut it, of course, but this doesn't feature the beautiful malt character that most fest biers feature. It's very disappointing, and I hate to rag on a Virginia craft brewery but it needs to be said.
