Poured from the bottle into a nonic pint glass, Christmas in July BABY!! Bottled Nov 2014 I think?!? Bring it!
Deep mahogany brown with some caramel red colors in the mix, real nice creamy and very light tan head, almost vanilla yellow white with minimal lacing and some whipped up like retention to go with it. Quite nice looking brew for a warmer.
Classic spices of nutmeg, clove, sweet cinnamon, with a real cake like quality. Super spice loaf and doughy malt quality, with excellent sweetness and aroma.
Palate continues much of the same. Spiced warmth through a real chocolate milk and warm cocoa like body. Milky tones and creamy soft palate abound and coat all over. Much of the spice character still continues in the mid palate, clove with a mild soft heat, cinnamon warmth and even hints of licorice like candy.
Really memorable warmer that has held up real well.
