Draft at PBR. Pale golden pour, cloudy, skin of head. Now it gets interesting. Yeasty aroma, Belgiany, floral, citrus. This had me scratching my head as it comes off like a saison or Belgian pale. Taste is both sweet and a bit tart, fruity, citrus, stone fruit, grassy. Not your normal DIPA

Not a NE ipa. 8.4%. Served on nitro at the brewery.
Creamy white head with lace. Clear golden color.
Lots of pine. Earthy, resiny, a bit dank, and weedy. Sticky, resiny finish. Grapefruit citrus. Nice west coast style with a unique creamy nitro feel.

This one has changed a bit. It is now 8.40% abv and the coloring on the can is a little different. I bought a 16 oz can at Total WIne in Chesapeake VA. Pours a dull, hazy yellow-gold color into a pint glass. Huge frothy head with excellent retention and thick bands of lacing on the glass. Aroma and taste are tropical and citrus fruits. There is a nice balance between dry biscuity malt and fruity bitterness. This is a very tasty beer!!!! Mouthfeel is rich (due to malt and nicely bitter. The alcohol is well hidden and it goes down easy for a fairly bitter beer. This is a very good IPA - Imperial. I would enjoy more of this one!!!

16 ounce can poured into a tumbler style pint glass.
L: Big fluffy white head that piles out of the glass like mousse, hazy golden-orange, lot of suspended sediment.
S: Light pineapple and mango.
T: Grapefruit and mango with an off, artificial-like flavor.
F: Soft medium body that finishes with a crisp bite.
O: Due to the flavor this one isn’t for me.
