Hoppy nose and initial taste, but finishes clean and light like a pils.

On tap at brewery:
Pours a bit darker than expected, dark golden, with a little lean towards Amber even. Clear, with a light, small bubbled white head, than mainly lives in a thin line along the edges. Not much carbonation visible climbing the beer.
Nose was grapefruit, citrus rind and something else from my taster. A larger pour to do a better review was a tad weaker in the nose. I also didn't notice the same "other", but got a slight hint of butterscotch. Other lighter scent are floral and maybe a bit o' honey.
Taste starts a little heavier than I expected, medium light, but crackery grain, light citrus notes, light honeysuckle sweetness, earthy notes. The taste does end on a bitter note (rind and pine) with a dry feel.
This gave me an overall impression of an APA, except lighter and sweeter. If they ramped up the hops a bit more, it could possibly be mistaken for a mediocre session IPA. Overall, an okay brew, regardless.
