This is more an amber color beer very different than most IPAs. I really like it since it is unique hard to describe no overly citrus or floral or anything like that I the flavors just a real solid brew. Goes grear with some chicken or hot dogs off the grill. Great after a bike ride or for just chilling. You don't get any overly hippy notes no strong alcohol taste it is balanced.

From the growler, it pours a amber with a pleasant, small, head. Lacing as you enjoy the beer. Citrus caresses the nose, the mouth is enticed by the creamy maltiness with a very slight hop bite. Wow!

Had on tap. A nice copper orange with a single finger head that leaves lots of lacing. Smell is like the taste: lots of sweet malt, not much in the hops department. Alcohol well hidden. A well-made DIPA that is more on the malt side than a hop bomb.

Pours into a small tulip glass a deep burnt orange/amber with a large billowing creamy off white head that leaves "globs" of broken lace behind as it settled into a frothy mass.Sweet caramel and citric hops in the nose, alot of malt.Starts out rich and somewhat sweet with caramel and sweet alcohol, the hops are somewhat earthy and citric in the finish.A big creamy DIPA,very nice.
