Dry it is. I love stouts, but a little less burnt malts and a tiny bit more sweetness would have helped.
Look - beautiful black with a small tan head that fades to just a ring around the edges.
Smell - coffee all the way.
Taste - very dry, bitter burnt coffee.
Feel - very light bodied.

The Brothers make some outstanding stouts but this is not one of them. Decent looking beer but not much in the aroma other than the smoke/roast. Same with the flavor and with the dry finish it really comes across as ashy. I will go back to their other stouts
