On tap at the their taproom last Monday.Poured a deep chestnut brown with a full one finger beige head atop.A mix of dark bread and nutty malts on the nose.Light nuttiness and chocolate malts on the palate with a dark bread and earthy note in the finish.A solid dunkel, not sweet and not overly roasted or earthy.

Poured from the bottle into pint glass. Very dark, small tan but very fluffy head that does not dissipate. Outstanding lacing as you work down the glass. Wonderful aroma, you get the dark malt along with some bread and roast, even a touch of dark fruit, enjoyable. Roast stands out a little more in the taste then the aroma, maybe a bit to much. This roast combines with the bitter for a touch of ash but does still seem balanced due to a good amount of sweet malt and some dark fruit. Good carbonation with a decent thick feel. Overall a very enjoyable beer.
