This is my 2nd favorite Verdure variant, behind only the blackberry. Pours a light, straw yellow. A bit fruitier than the base on the nose. Smells great. I'm getting a lot of the tart, lemony base up front, followed by a blast of tangy Passionfruit. I thought this fruit treatment really complimented the base, rather than overpowering it.
EDIT: I will leave my original (draft) rating right where it is. Just wanted to add that my bottles are a tad bit over-carbed. I've had two of them, and had to swirl the beer around in my glass to release some carb to keep it from fizzing up as soon as it hits my tongue. Berliners should be highly carbed, but I believe this is another example of over-carbed bottles from BCB. Still very tasty once some of the carb is released, and it does not gush like one of my GD bottles did.
