On the label of the bottle, next to the bar code: "07.26.2021"
Appearance: The body of the beer is an orange-gold color with a good deal of haze. Dark fuzzy shadows are visible through it. The head is medium-short and creamy textured with tapioca-like lumps across the surface. It has good retention and nice sheets of lacing.
Aroma: A skunky aroma comes through at first, followed by notes of alcohol.
Taste: Up front there is a mixture of pine and skunk. Towards the middle there is some alcohol and grain flour flavor with more skunk.
Mouthfeel: It has a medium bitterness with a slick body. It isn't a pleasant beer to drink.
Overall: It is a rather unpleasant beer to drink. The skunky flavor and aroma are detrimental to the beer but there is also a slickness which is off-putting. The alcohol presence is forgiveable given that the label states it is "10.1% ALC BY VOLUME." The label also states that this is a "TRIPLE INDIA PALE ALE" although it tastes more like somebody blended a skunked Corona with a mildly hopped IPA. I would not drink it again even if somebody handed me one for free and I would strongly recommend against it.
Normally I don't mention prices for beers but this one runs $24 a four-pack so that could also be a major consideration when looking at trying this beer.
