Norfolk Kiwi was the first beer to be brewed in Jo C’s Norfolk Ale Brewery. Using locally grown Maris Otter and wheat.
It is blended with English and New Zealand hops, hence the name, the brewsters husband is also a New Zealander.
Hand-pulled pint in the Kings Head, Norwich on 20 Apr 2013.
Light golden body with a sparse white head.
Mild aroma of citrusy hops and biscuity malts, so a lemon biscuit sort of smell.
Taste followed the aromas: lemon biscuit, without the crumbs.
This is a session beer, so no great body depth: so average is the best I can give.
Pleasant and easy drinking pint: I was on a mission though, so moved on to stronger things.
