It pours a light golden color with a large head to start with, the smell is of bread with somewhat of a hop background. The taste is vertically the same with probably a bit more bite at the end. Overall a really enjoyed drink.

Crooked Letter introduced Stabello Maniscalco, a 7.00 ABV "Italian Style Lager," back in 2013. That was a different but good beer. In 2015, the brewery converted the beer to an ale for production reasons. First had this now 5.00 ABV "Italian Style Ale" poured from 12-oz. bottle into snifter. Stabello Maniscalco is a better ale than it was a lager. It is listed as a Belgian Pale Ale because that is the best match.
