Pours a lighter brass color with a thinner but pretty well sustained white head atop.Toast with a bit of caramel/biscuit stand out most in the nose with a hint of chili burn detected.Biscuit malts with a bit of caramel sweetness up front with a decent earthy spice component from the peppers in the finish.A little thinner in the mouth than expected. Not bad but I'am not nearly the fan of this beer as the others who have rated it.

Pepper and mild heat. Just had this selection at The Beer Den in Leland, NC. Interesting. A hazy amber with an off white head and decent lacing. The nose is pepper and orange. Not much to it but the taste was better. I got most of the heat on the back-end with some malt in the beginning. The mouthfeel is a medium body with well balanced carbonation. Overall, this is worth a try.

Golden hazy color with a nice lacing sticking around on the rim and on top. Smells of mild straw and orange peel. Flavor is a nice light malt that quickly fades into a really delicious mild spiciness from the peppers. That spice sticks around a little while too! Pretty drinkable mouthfeel and you really would never guess the high percentage of alcohol. This is a pretty awesome pepper beer that does a good job of showcasing how you can work peppers into a brew without it overwhelming or without something decent to balance it out in the flavor department. Picked this bomber up in late July 2017 in Carrboro, NC and it says it was bottled June 2017. Totally worth a try!

Clear copper colored almost reddish beer with an off white head that hangs out around the edge of the glass and leaves a few spots of lacing. Nice fresh pepper aroma with agave and malty sweetness. The taste is sweet up front with malty and floral flavors that quickly turn to peppers and a bit of heat. This is one of the best chile beers I've had.
