Builds a thick, creamy chestnut head up to two inches. A clear, irridescent dark copper beer embraces rapidly rising streams of carbonation while a coating of fine lace clings to an Offero oversized wine glass.
The aroma is overwhelmed by soap and astringent spices.
The flavor is a menagerie of spices competing in a melee of flavor. It is difficult to identify any specifics, but it is more bitter than sweet and had a modest short finish.
A medium body and scratchy texture is lifted by strong, fizzy carbonation. Alcohol is a bit more pungent than expected, but below my preference for the style.
This is a fine beer, however I expect more pop from the style and felt let down by the name.
