L: Poured from a bottle to a pint glass. Had a dark, mahogany brown color and a thick, opaque consistency. There was a two inch, creamy, fluffy, off white, extremely long-lasting head. Fantastic lacing.
S: A decent, but not great, aroma of malt, cinnamon, caramel, and brown sugar.
T: Tasted of a whole lot of malt (present throughout), a mild hops presence, a tinge of cinnamon, a little caramel, some of the brown ale nuttiness, a lot of lactose, and a little brown sugar. Not a bad flavor, but kind of out of balance. The lactose seemed to dominate everything, especially regarding the cinnamon and brown sugar. Still, not bad.
F: A good amount of carbonation with a smooth, dry finish. Medium-bodied.
O: Definitely an uneven beer, but one with good qualities. Worth a try.
