The colour is pale gold; the liquid is clear. The two finger head sinks quickly leaving no lacing.
The smell is spicy with distinct notes of juniper berries and -twigs. Fat fresh notes of wood and woods. It reminds a bit of after shave.
The taste is a bit bitter. The woody juniper berry flavours reminds a bit of some pilseners from Northern Germany, but this one is of course much more dominant in the flavours. It is a bit earthy, too. Medium body. The aftertaste is milder and more balanced, giving room to some mint flavours, a very gentle clean sweetness and smooth notes of fir wood. The finish is mint-y like a bubble gum.
The carbonation is strong; the large bubbles are short-lived. The liquid is light and a bit dry.
An unusual beer, clean like a German pils but with those juniper twig flavours added.

Received this after volunteering at wbc. Label says it is an herb and spice beer. Brownish yellow/ amber pour with a half finger head. Smell is of a spice but I can't place it. Taste is similar to a pale ale but there is no residue from hops. Very easy to drink. Would be refreshing on a hot day. Mouthfeel is very creamy. I would think there might be some maris otter in play. Overall a decent beer from Sweden.
