Appearance: Dark brown nitro draft with a tinge of amber color. Silky smooth tan/beige head of about 2mm.
Aroma and Taste: Bittersweet chocolate, roasted malt, cream, and a tiny bit of coffee.
Feel: Not heavy.
Overall: Not bad. Middle of the road milk stout. It’s cool that they brew it with locally sourced chocolate.

Had on tap at the Raleigh arena. Overall very good. Better stouts out there, but no complaints about this one. Slightly thinner, lighter mouthfeel than other stouts. Would have again

L: Had this beer on-tap at Brewmasters - Wilson, poured into a snifter glass. Had a dark brown / black color and a thick, opaque consistency. There was a quarter inch of foamy, tan-colored, somewhat long-lasting head. OK lacing.
S: A good, but not great, aroma of malt, chocolate, cream, hops, and coffee.
T: Tasted of a mild amount of malt (not overly present), a tinge of coffee, a fair amount of coffee (less than expected), a light creamy quality and some hops. This is kind of odd flavor. It needs a bit of a push with some ingredients, and less of others. At times it tastes like a black ale. Still, an interesting flavor.
F: A decent amount of carbonation with a smooth finish. Medium-bodied.
O: An uneven beer, to be sure, but oddly likable. Worth a look.

Very smooth. Tastes like milk almost, with a chocolate and cinnamon note. The milk taste is odd to me, I really could do without it.

Had on tap at Simple Twist restaurant. Dark black and clean, with a very subtle head. Smells of mocha, cocoa nibs and coffee. Sweet and malty taste and very slight roastiness of the black barley. Mouthfeel clean, a little lacking, but still finishes like a good stout. I prefer a heavier mouthfeel and a deeper, richer full body. But for a session beer and year-round version, this is pretty tasty. Well done
